Character banner re-runs have recently become pretty common in the world of Genshin Impact. A recent leak has apparently revealed the release date of Zhongli's banner.
A release of a new character is probably one of the most anticipated events a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to. But sadly, once a new five-star character arrives, his banner stays in the game for 15-20 days, and if you miss your chance of pulling, it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to acquire him/her anytime soon.
With the recent announcement of both Venti and Tartaglia, miHoYo made a strong statement that they will make some changes to their initial routine by introducing rate-up banners that will allow us to pull for already obtainable characters. One of the most popular Genshin leakers called Lumie posted a short video on Twitter which apparently reveals the exact date of Zhongli's return.
As you can see in the video above, Zhongli's banner re-run should be arriving after Childe's departure which should come around April 27.
We've already had multiple tweets from many other Genshin Impact leakers revealing a couple of interesting details about update 1.5. Even though the leak accurately predicted a Venti banner re-run, it was wrong about Klee. Maybe at the time when it was detamined, miHoYo had actual plans to give Klee a re-run but later they could have changed their decision because Klee's banner has been the most popular banner in terms of sales.
Zhongli didn't receive much love when he was initially released a couple of months due to the lack of damage and shield power he provided. However, quickly went from "being useless" to becoming one of the strongest characters in a game and a must-have for any late-game team composition due to a couple of strong buffs
