How Ranking Up Works

In a Reload Lobby, if you have “Ranked” set to “On,” you’ll see your current rank on the bottom-right of the screen. You’ll also see a progress bar indicating how far you are from advancing to the next rank or returning to the previous one.

Reload is played as a team, and your team will have a team rank determined by the highest-ranked player on the team. For example, if your team is made up of Platinum III and Gold I players, you’ll matchmake as a Platinum III team and play against similarly-ranked teams.

Even though your team will have a rank, you’ll also maintain your individual rank. The progress bar movement for your individual rank will be based on your team performance and your individual rank.

Ranked Reload has a couple different rules than Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build:

  • Eliminations of full enemy teams will award extra Ranked progression.
  • Repeated eliminations of the same player by the same team will award significantly reduced progression after the second elimination.
  • In Reload, eliminations and placement both play a major role for calculating Ranked progression.

At the start of a new Ranked period, everyone’s Reload rank will reset, and your beginning rank will depend on your finishing rank in the previous period. The next Ranked period will begin with the launch of the next season.
