Epic teamed up with a couple of Fortnite fans to come up with examples of Party Worlds, a new feature that will let players submit their original ideas.
Fortnite is getting new Party Worlds experiences, a feature tailored to the creative types out there. These Party Worlds will be the place to meet people, play mini-games and generally hang out. Two examples of Party Worlds were made in collaboration with Epic:
Walnut World by fivewalnut
Walnut World is an amusement park where players can be socially active.
Walnut World Island code: 9705-9549-4193
Late Night Lounge by TreyJTH
The late-night lounge can be a place to go and chill after hours.
Late Night Lounge Island code: 8868-0043-1912
Party Worlds vs. Hubs
Party Worlds has socialising and mini-games front and centre. Unlike Hubs, Party Worlds will not link to other islands, so they won’t serve as a discovery tool.
Creatives welcome
Players can make their own Party Worlds and share them with the devs as well as the rest of the world.
Guidelines for creators:
- Party Worlds should not be threatening. They shouldn’t centre on combat or damage.
- Party Worlds should have a high focus on self-expression through emotes, sprays, outfit changes, or other mechanics.
- Party Worlds should encourage social interaction, giving people a way to make new friends or team up with existing friends in new ways.
Party Worlds is a work in progress and will evolve with time.
How to submit a creation
Fortnite players need only use the "Party World" tag for their island and submit it using the Fortnite Discover Submission form. Obviously, all submissions must be original ideas.
