Following the tradition, Konami have once again released a free-to-play version of their football simulation PES. Named PES Lite, it brings complete access to myClub mode and a couple of other modes. Sadly, there is no true next-gen version.

Konami are once again offering a free-to-play version of their football simulation eFootball PES 2021. The game is available for download right now on all platforms - PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

On the next-gen consoles, the game will work via backwards compatibility, which means there is no enhanced version that would utilise the consoles' powerful new hardware, which certainly is a shame but given that Konami decided to skip a major PES release in 2020, this was somewhat expected from the publisher.

Anyway, as you may know, the Lite version of eFootball PES does not include the full game but comes with a couple of game modes that many players find quite enjoyable. You get complete access to the myClub mode, which is basically Konami's version of FIFA's Ultimate Team.

On top of this, there are also some other modes that you can tray like local and co-op matches and a training mode for those who are just starting with the game.
