Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta may be extended due to connection issues that have ruined the experience for many a DBZ fan. The issue seems to be worldwide with numerous players having problems joining a match or even logging into the game's lobby.
open beta was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today. However, it hasn't really been an enjoyable experience so far - quite the contrary. There have been numerous reports of players being unable to connect to the beta's servers, and those who managed to get in found themselves wandering aimlessly around the lobby in hopes of joining a match, but to no avail.
Bandai Namco
Bandai Namco have acknowledged this issue and have said that they might consider extending the beta period if the connection problems persist. Their official reads: "Our team is working hard on optimising the Open Beta but ran into some issues that cannot be addressed in a short amount of time, so we are asking for your patience until the next server update. The current Open Beta will remain online and available so that the players who can log in and play it, can keep doing so. Please note, that if we cannot address the issues within a decent amount of time, we will consider extending the Open Beta of Dragon Ball FighterZ."
We at AltChar have tried connecting to the beta's network since it launched, but we've had zero luck. We hope the issue gets resolved soon, and fair play to Bandai Namco for considering the extension. Then again, it's the least they can do, right?
