CD Projekt Red is working with Brian Mantia and Melissa Reese in order to find the soundtrack that'll fit their upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077. Both have been members of the famous rock band Guns ‘N Roses. Cyberpunk 2077 will have 'music that has never been heard before'.

CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will feature music by Brian Mantia and Melissa Reese. Both artists have previously collaborated with the rock band Guns ‘N Roses. Mantia was the band's drummer and Reese is currently their keyboardist.

The pair also has a couple of video game soundtracks on their resume. These include Infamous: Second Son, Mortal Kombat, Bloodborne and now Cyberpunk 2077.

The Cyberpunk 2077 news was confirmed by Mantia:

"I’m also working on the soundtrack for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game… This project in particular has been a little challenging because the developers are looking for music that has never been heard before if that makes any sense... They are looking for music that would be made in the year 2077… I’m into it because I really love "white noise" and I figure that's where music is gonna be in 60 years from now (lol)… Basically every frequency within the range of human hearing (20 hertz to 20 kHz)… Anyways, i’m really diggin' the experimentation on this project"

Given the games the two have worked on in the past, we might be in for a treat when Cyberpunk 2077 hits the shelves. Anything is better than the game's Twitter page has been giving us for years.

The rumours about CD Projekt Red giving a select group of people at Cyberpunk 2077 during the upcoming E3 event are still swirling. That might not happen in the end, but CD Projekt Red has a reputation of showing their latest games in the form of a gameplay trailer as well as a hands-off demo.
