Sony have officially announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on the PlayStation Store. The publisher recommend playing on PS4 Pro or PS5 consoles for the best experience.

CD Projekt Red's action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store , officially. After being removed from the platform shortly after the launch, Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for purchase for a discounted price of $49.99.

Sony still have a disclaimer on the official page, stating that PS4 Pro or PS5 is recommended for playing the game as the game still suffers from poor performance on the base PlayStation 4 console. Here's the message in full:

"IMPORTANT NOTICE: Users continue to experience performance issues with this game. Purchase for use on PS4 systems is not recommended. For the best Cyberpunk experience on PlayStation, play on PS4 Pro and PS5 systems."

Cyberpunk 2077 was officially removed from the PlayStation Store in December 2020 due to game-breaking bugs and overall poor performance on PlayStation 4 consoles. On top of this, thousands of refund requests from players have also been one of the biggest reasons for pulling the game from the store.

The game has received several updates since launch which fixed a lot of bugs and issues but it's still far from perfect. Luckily, CD Projekt Red are continuing their work on improving the performance and more patches are expected throughout the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store.
