TiMi Studios and Activision have announced that Warzone and Modern Warfare's little brother Call of Duty Mobile is will soon be getting its own Gulag, which is quickly becoming a staple feature.
Knowing just how the map clicked with the game and Call of Duty: Warzone's playerbase, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Soon, CoD Mobile players will get to put their money where their mouth is and duke it out 1v1 to prove they've got another drop in them
If you're really anxious to have a go, you should know that Call of Duty Mobile's developer already implemented it on the test server, along with the rest of the goodies that will be coming in Season 7 of the popular mobile offshoot.
Unlike Warzone's version, which boasts a few variants of the prison map, Call of Duty Mobile's edition of Gulag is a single map. More importantly though - the fun factor that comes with the hectic gunplay is unmistakeably Gulag - shoot first, take names later. Or keep shooting and forget the names.
Call of Duty Mobile is nearing the end of Season 6 and Season 7 is also live on the test server. In fact, Gulag is just one of the exciting new features, which include new maps, operator skills, perks, scorestreaks, etc.
The game's earliest adopters may recall Tunesia from the beta, and it looks like it will be added in Season 7, alongside Highrise, which MW2 fans will recognise.
Call of Duty Mobile's new operator skill is Takeo's Katana, which lets players switch into third-person perspective. There are new perks too, like Overkill and Shrapnel, which let you carry to primary guns or an extra piece of equipment, respectively.
