Physics based builder game Besiege has set out to fulfill two major fan requests, namely a Steam Workshop integrated level editor and PvP/PvE multiplayer. The indie tittle also happens to be on sale with Steam for those of you who haven't yet had the pleasure.

Besiege has been a long time Steam indie favourite, despite being stuck in Early Access for over 2 years. The team at Spiderling Studios has now announced a Multiverse update aiming to bring multiplayer and a level editor to the game before the end of 2017.

The update is set to roll out piece by piece and the devs will be keeping players updated as work continues. Besiege will become a little more expensive after the features have been implemented. This was previously announced by the team, and players who already own the game won't be required to pay extra. In this day and age of DLC-s and season passes - such a fair, simple and transparent approach is a breath of fresh air.

"The Multiverse update is not yet ready but we are aiming to have it released by the end of Q3 of this year. As you can imagine there’s a lot of testing that needs doing to ensure your experience of these new features is as smooth as possible." Spiderling Studios explained on their page.

The multiplayer features will allow up to 8 players to fool around in the same area in a competitive or cooperative manner. In addition to these major announcements, Besiege has also received two new campaign maps and some general bug fixes.

In case you want to see what Besiege is all about, you can do so now at a 30 per cent , for just under £4. While a £2 price increase isn't that big of a deal, getting the game now will keep a bit of hard earned cash in your pocket.
