DICE shared details about the Battlefield 1 expansion one day before it's set to launch

They Shall Not Pass will add four new maps seen in the trailer. Verdun Heights will bring the heated battle for the fortress of Verdun to life. The next map will bring the fight indoors, to the cold stone walls of Fort de Vaux.

Soissons map will offer a picturesque countryside backdrop to the Saint Chamond tanks' full display of power. The fourth map of the DLC is called Rupture and it's set in a field of poppy flowers growing among tanks leftover from previous battles.

Biggest addition the DLC will bring is the French army, clad in blue uniforms. New game mode is a "mix of Conquest and Rush" named Frontlines. It's a capture the flag kind of affair with a Rush-style section.

Two new rides will join the fray, a "steel behemoth" - Char 2C tank, based on a real life French tank; and the St. Chamond - "the most heavily armed allied tank of the war". The elite class of the Trench Raider will also be available. The Raider is a melee type of a character, wielding a steel club, and equipped with an arsenal of grenades.

Lastly, two new operations: The Devil’s Anvil and Beyond the Marne, along with a slew of melee and main weapons become available on 14 March.
