Turtle Rock Studios' co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood is hosting two open beta tests in the first half of August 2021. The first beta will kick-off next weekend.
If you've been looking for some co-op action in the next week or so, Back 4 Blood is got you covered. Warner Bros. Games and the developer Turtle Rock Studios will be hosting open beta tests, yes plural, starting next weekend.
The first open beta test is scheduled to run from Thursday, August 5 to Monday, August 9. The servers are set to go live at 12:00 PM PT / 09:00 PM CET. This beta will serve as exclusive early access for those who pre-ordered the game.
If you are one of those who don't like to spend their money on games before seeing reviews, the full open beta will kick off three days after the first beta test ends - Thursday, August 12 and will run until Monday, August 16, 2021.

As already mentioned, the second test will be open to the public, which means everybody get to play it if they the necessary hardware (PC or console).
Back 4 Blood will be launching October 12, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers also get the game on day one.
