Bandai Namco have shared another screenshot from their upcoming anime MMORPG Blue Protocol. This time, they revealed the look of gladiator-style Arena, where players will be able to fight solo or in a party.
In case you have not heard about it, Blue Protocol is an upcoming anime MMORPG from the Japanese publisher Bandai Namco. It is a gorgeous-looking game, judging from the early gameplay footage and screenshots, coming sometime in 2020.
Over the last couple of weeks, Bandai Namco have started to reveal more and more details about the game, which is soon entering a closed beta phase. We got details about one of the game's dungeons and a massive to summon along with monetisation plans.
Today, Bandai Namco shared a brand new screenshot, showcasing a new location in the game, named the Arena. In a tweet from the official Blue Protocol Twitter, Bandai Namco wrote (roughly translated via Google) that Arena is a place where players will be able to fight solo or with their friends in a party. "Don't be afraid of the rushing enemy, try your own strength," they hyped up the gladiator-style colosseum. You can check it out in the screenshot above.
Unfortunately, the publisher did not reveal any additional details about the Arena but we assume that it is a place where players will be able to fight against several enemies and climb their way up to the ladder before taking on the champion.
The Arena will be available in the closed beta and once again, Bandai Namco have invited players to sign up for the test via the official website. You can apply until 02 March 2020, 11:00.
Blue Protocol is currently in development exclusively for PC. The game is currently confirmed only for the Japanese market. We reached out to Bandai Namco for a comment on whether the game would see an official release in the West, but the publisher has remained silent on the matter thus far.
