2K Games say NBA 2K23's MyCareer mode will be the largest in the history of the franchise, with new storyline and popular real-world music stars.
NBA 2K23 is just around the corner and today, publisher 2K Games decided to reveal the first details about their new MyCareer experience on the current-gen consoles.
2K Games say this year's MyCareer mode will be the biggest and most involved storyline yet. The story kicks off after the NBA Draft, which is a major shift from the previous game where players got to choose between the G League, College and Draft.
The story will strongly focus on the off-court career through music, fashion and business. Players will get to meet a rich cast of characters and cameos including Dreamville musicians Elite and Bas as they help players befriend American rapper J. Cole.
J. Cole is also the cover star of a brand new NBA 2K23 Dreamer Edition, which is exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S .
In addition to the news, 2K also dropped a brand new trailer for the game, showcasing the story in MyCareer mode and some of the characters that we'll meet on our rise to become an NBA great. Check it out below:
2K Games promise more news next week when they plan to talk about The City on September 7, just ahead of the official launch.
NBA 2K23 is officially releasing on September 9, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
