A Reddit user noticed unusual activity on Fortnite's map, which suggests that the cataclysm event signalling the beginning of Season 8 is just around the corner. The shared video shows tiny cracks appearing in certain areas of the map.

NetherRealm have announced a new playable character for Mortal Kombat 11. It's warrior Jade who previously appeared in 2011's Mortal Kombat and had a cameo in Mortal Kombat X as well. Jade is the eighteenth character to join the roster.

Ubisoft have released patch notes for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Odyssey update which brings new game plus mode, increased level cap to 99 and a brand new quest dubbed A Brother's Seduction. The patch also includes two new gear sets.

Ubisoft have released a launch trailer for their post-apocalyptic spinoff Far Cry New Dawn along with first 12 minutes of story gameplay. The video reveals a tense and explosive introduction as well as some new and familiar characters.

In the latest Nintendo Direct, the publisher have confirmed that their Switch console is set to become richer for three new ports - Dead by Daylight, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and Unravel 2. The three titles will release in 2019.

Respawn Entertainment have released patch notes for their latest Apex Legends update. To celebrate Valentine's Day, the developers added two new limited-time cosmetics to store. Additionally, the update brings a couple of bug fixes.

Ubisoft have confirmed the open beta dates for their upcoming motorcycle platformer Trials Rising. The game will be available to everyone from 21 to 24 February 2019. The open beta will run on all platforms - PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
