GTA V sells 15 million in 2017, 90m in total

Grand Theft Auto V was always going to be huge but now it's just humiliating the competition left and right. The game now broke 90 million copies sold, 15 million of which in 2017, which is pretty impressive for a game that launched in 2013 and even more impressive once you see the kind of titles it left in the dust.

Obsidian's new RPG will be MTX free

Fallout: New Vegas developer, Obsidian Entertainment is working on a new RPG. The upcoming game is set to be published by Take Two Interactive's new indie-focused label. Obsidian recently distanced themselves from Take Two's new microtransaction policy.

N.Sane Trilogy topped the UK sales chart again this week. The list's mainstays such as GTA V and Fifa 17 are still among the top 10. Miitopia dropped down to number eight.

GTA V has been around for about 4 years now and it's currently making more money than ever. It might be a good idea to stop throwing money at the game if we want to see a GTA VI in our lifetime.

Last week a group named The Gurus found some clues to the mystery of the mount Chiliad. The mission was also triggered illegally, by changing a global variable to 20. This week a Reddit post shows you how to do it legally, but it will require some serious grind work.

Open IV is shutting down

Due to the cease and desist letter Open IV received from Take-Two Interactive on 05 June, the modding tool will no longer be available. The announcement by Open IV said that they decided not to go to court because "spending time just to restore status quo is really unproductive".
