Pokemon GO - The Season of Mischief

Pokemon GO's Season of Mischief will see Hoopa, the Mischief Pokemon join the roster and cause all kinds of shenanigans from September, until December 2021.

Pokemon GO's Season of Mischief will start on September 1, and see Hoopa, the Mischief Pokemon for the first time in Pokemon GO. The Season of Mischief will end on December 1, 2021.

September 2021 - Season of Mischief events

  • Season of Mischief: We're saying goodbye to the Season of Discovery and hello to Hoopa, the Mischief Pokemon making its Pokemon GO debut.
    • Hoopa's arrival will be honoured with a one-day event on Sunday, September 5, 2021. The event will be accompanied by a bunch of strange occurrences around the world.
  • A season-long Special Research story will be available with events unlocking as its story progresses. 
  • Psychic Spectacular: Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, September 13, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Some familiar Pokemon will be coming back for the event, with another one appearing in Pokemon GO for the first time.
  • Fashion Week: Pokemon but make it stylish. Some Pokemon will be strutting their stuff decked out in the latest trends, with one fluffy and fashionable friend joining the parade. Pokemon GO's Fashion Week will take place from Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
  • Team GO Rocket’s Boss is missing: Giovanni is probably holed up somewhere planning something. More information will be available soon, but in the meantime, make sure you leave your Super Rocket Radars at home as they won't be able to track him during this time.

New Evolution preview feature incoming

Coming soon: the option to preview your Pokemon's post-Evolution CP before you commit to evolving. The new preview screen will display:

  • The current Pokemon and its CP.
  • The Pokemon’s Evolution and its new CP.
  • The leagues the Evolved Pokemon would qualify for.

Pokemon post-Evolution CP preview will go live in September.
