Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 third-person hero shooter from NetEase Games in collaboration with Disney's Marvel Games. It is a free-to-play title available across all current-generation platforms. With a massive playerbase across all platforms, Marvel Rivals stands as a staple hero shooter in the current gaming scene.
Since its launch in December 2024, the game has evolved with a large roster of characters with seasonal additions like the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and Angela. With the new upcoming Season 7 update, Marvel Rivals players have received a new Strategist, White Fox. Here's a look at her abilities in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals: White Fox 101
Let us begin with a rundown of White Fox in Marvel Rivals. White Fox is a melee Strategist character with the ability to take medium- and short-range fights. Here's a complete overview of White Fox's move set:
- YEOWOO GUSEUL (Primary Fire): Fire a Fox Marble forward that bounces off terrain or heroes, then homes in on nearby heroes. It damages enemies, heals allies, and restores Spirit Tail energy.
- CLAW STRIKE (Secondary Fire): While Awakened, slash forward with a flurry of attacks.
- SPIRIT SANCTUARY: Teleport to a chosen ally, instantly healing allies in the area while generating a shield.
- SPECTRAL SURGE: Consume one Spirit Tail to send a spectral fox forward. It heals and grants invulnerability to allies it passes through and damages and Charms enemies, forcing foes to move toward White Fox.
- FOX FORM AWAKENING: Enter Awakened state, transforming Spirit Tails into physical tails. While active, continuously drain Spirit Tail energy and heal nearby allies. Striking enemies provides additional area healing.
- PREDATORY POUNCE: While Awakened, dash forward. Hit an enemy to slow them, enabling a second dash that knocks back enemies.
- TAIL SWEEP: While Awakened, sweep forward tails to launch up and hit enemies.
- KUMIHO UNLEASHED (Ultimate): Manifest the full Nine-Tailed Fox form and continuously heal nearby allies. Cannot receive healing effects from others while in this form.
White Fox will be the first character to join the hero roster in Season 7, with her being the first hero of this update. From the looks of her abilities, it is apparent that White Fox will be a worthy Strategist and healer to dominate the close-range and brawling gameplay meta of Season 7.
