The Criminal Enterprises update is bringing two new weapons to GTA Online - Service Carbine, pictured above, and Precision Rifle, pictured below. However, many will find themselves at a loss when trying to obtain these instruments of destruction.
Furthermore, when you log in after the update, a notification will point you towards Ammu-Nation to grab the new weapons but there are a few caveats.
First, the Service Carbine can't be obtained outright. It needs to be unlocked by collecting five parts of the weapon - receiver, magazine, barrel, sights and scope.
These parts can be found in randomly generated Crime Scenes. While that may be a bit of a turn-off, the good news is that Crime Scenes will always spawn on one of the 10 preset locations. Grab a helicopter and inspect them in order to find the parts as quickly as possible.
Second, the Precision Rifle may not be visible immediately. If you are trying to obtain it in Ammu-Nation, you will likely pay attention to the weapon rack on your right, where the new guns usually arrive. This is not the case with Precision Rifle, which is hanging next to the Sniper Rifle and Heavy Sniper Rifle, around the centre of the main weapon rack.
As you can see on the screenshot, the weapon will set you back $450,000. It can also be purchased in the Agency, if you set up an armory there, with the usual discount.
Precision Rifle has no attachments so the only additional costs will be your choice of tint but the weapon hardly justifies the price of admission - it is basically a heavy revolver with more range.
