A shadow looms over the world of Pokemon GO as a fresh Shiny makes its Pokemon GO debut. Additional Shadow Pokemon roam the planet and Team GO Rocket is up to no good.

Pokemon GO's Festival of Lights event is now in full swing. The trainers have welcomed Dedenne and enjoyed the fireworks. Now, it's time to get ready for the continuation of the event wherein a mysterious shadow looms over the world.

The Season of Mischief Story Continues

Compete this Season's Special Research story to gain access to a special event at the end of the season. There may be more information about Hoopa to be found there.

With Light Comes Shadow: Team GO Rocket is trying to take Hoopa away during the Festival of Lights. The Trainers will have to deal with them while also keeping Giovanni at bay. Giovanni has the same information about the season's elusive Pokemon and there is also mounting evidence that he has turned another Legendary Pokemon into a Shadow Pokemon.
