While the game is filled to the brim with content, Embark Studios is releasing the first major update, North Line, for Arc Raiders. The new update will introduce a brand-new map in the game, Stella Montis. Here's how to unlock Stella Montis in Arc Raiders.
How to Unlock the New Stella Montis Map in Arc Raiders
The North Line update for Arc Raiders comes out on November 13, 2025. With the new update, Embark Studios will add the new Stella Montis map. To unlock Stella Montis, players need to take part in the Breaking New Ground community event.
In the Breaking New Ground event, players are asked to contribute resources to the tunnel project. In Speranza, nothing comes for free, and the tunnel project is no different. Basic materials must be collected and donated for the restoration of the tunnels to reach the fifth map: Stella Montis. The basic materials needed in the event:
- Metal Parts
- Fabric
- Chemicals
- Rubber Parts
- Plastic Parts
Any player that has played at least five rounds can participate in this community effort. The community efforts will not go unrewarded. Donations in the “Breaking New Ground” event will earn Merits, a new event currency that will fuel the next phase of progression. While there is a cap on how many Merits can be earned for material donation, additional contributions will aid Speranza in reaching Stella Montis more quickly.
Once completed, the restoration of the tunnels and unlocking of Stella Montis will trigger Phase II, “Staking Our Claim”, a new progression track. So, unlocking Stella Montis will be a community-wide effort that will be completed after all phases and requirements are met.
