Mount And Blade 2: Bannerlord

It seems that TaleWorlds have finally broken past the barrier of keeping the game afloat by hot fixing issues, and are now in the process of balancing and improving the game itself.

It wouldn't do for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord to have extremely similar combat to Warband. So, on that note, TaleWorlds have finally found time to implement new changes to the game, and not just focus on putting out fires.

It took TaleWorlds ten years to announce the development of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. Even now, the game has been in development for a long time, so a two-year wait for a reward is nothing new.

Bannerlord's biggest problem, aside from the frequent crashes and half-baked single-player game, was the fact that more players played Warband multiplayer than Bannerlord multiplayer. With these changes, tat is bound to change.

Recently, TaleWorlds have posted an article on their official site regarding their future plans, All of those inspired hope in players that they will see the game in a positive light soon enough, but reality came knocking once again.

The way to make companions more impactful in Warband was to recruit Jeremus, outfit him with the best armor you can salvage or hand down from yourself, to ensure he doesn't get downed. Now, Bannerlord will change it up a tad.

The longer the wait, the sweeter the prize. For those of us that waited a literal decade and more for Bannerlord to be announced, waiting some more time for the game to be as perfect as possible seems a breeze, doesn't it?

While following the trends in games usually gives out a short success, followed by losing interest in the project, some things become more than just trends. Ranked, competitive, multiplayer is one of those, and Bannerlord will implement it.

While the Mount & Blade series has always emphasised fighting alongside and commanding your troops from within the thick of the battle, nothing speaks against establishing some order before you clash with your enemies!

All Bannerlord factions are, more or less, based on real-life cultures and civilizations. The Aserai are, obviously, based on the Arabs, but players are pointing out that some mistakes in the process are ruining the immersion.
