With less than three weeks left until the launch of World of Warcraft Classic, Blizzard's return to the roots of the legendary game, the company are laying the foundation for reunions of old friendship with a special section on the forums.

It seems that everyone has a World of Warcraft story to tell, quite rightfully so, as the game has been around for a while now.

Get ready to feel old - come November 2019, World of Warcraft will be 15 years old. Yeah, I know.

In this time, Blizzard's tinkering has transformed the game many times over, which in turn meant World of Warcraft had more player migrations than the white stork.

With many close allies and bitter enemies having lost contact since, Blizzard's forums started a thread tree, where your search starts with choosing to look for Alliance or Horde friends.

The section was caught by a Reddit user going by the handle Dldallas, whose post features a number of players who already started their search, albeit on Reddit.

Take note, if you're going to check it out , it's not a particularly jolly sight. Honestly, if you didn't know it was World of Warcraft, you'd think somebody displaced a small town of people, each in their own direction. .

Blizzard's Classic Connections 2004-2006 forum section is , so good luck with your search.

On a somewhat related note, if you happen to get too sad, we may have a WoW-related antidote.

Namely, in response to the recent negativity surrounding video games, team lead of vanilla World of Warcraft Mark Kern was trending #GamersAreGood on Twitter, asking gamers from around the globe to tell their gaming-related stories, and it was truly a joy to behold.

As you'd expect, many of the stories are vanilla World of Warcraft related, although it seemed that most of the friendships mentioned there last to this day. Granted, I could be completely wrong, as I was terribly subjective while reading through the stories, so don't take my word for it.
