Weedcraft Inc will be a game by Vile Monarch that will let players build a Mary Jane empire with the ultimate goal of market domination. They will need to start small, just like any business and build a network of associates and customers.

According to the official description on Weedcraft's Steam store page, the game will explore the intricate business of producing, breeding and selling weed in America where it's legal in some states and still branded as devil's lettuce in others. The players will delve "into the financial, political and cultural aspects of the country's complex relationship with this troublesome and promising plant".

With that in mind, players will need to place their resources in the business parts that need them the most. For example, they will need to decide whether to invest in cultivating new plants or cross-breed them to create unique strains of marijuana. Other investments include growing their work force as well as dealing with the law.

Players will apparently be able to do the latter in several ways - befriending politicians, bribing the police, pushing for medical marijuana rights or alter the law itself to legalise marijuana. Weedcraft's gameplay will apparently involve unique characters that the players can either interact with or find other ways to bypass them in order to grow their herb empire.

Just like in any good business simulator, players will be presented with risk choices in Weedcraft Inc. They can either go for safer routes and grow slowly or take risks in order to maximise profits. There is a warning presented by Devolver Digital and Vile Monarch that players should be careful of cops and politicians as they both have their own agendas.

However, the government and the people in blue will not be the only obstacles on players' weed-paved road to success as they should also prepare for competition that will try to kick them off the market. There is currently no specific release date for weed selling simulator, except for a , which is aimed at PC.
