Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is getting Season of the Void Brethren on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The season will have some highly sought-after additions, chief among them being Void Crusade co-op and other improvements.
Co-op as a feature is self-explanatory as the players can now undertake these challenging activities with friends instead of wading through alone. It remains to be seen if the devs will manage to deal with the hardest obstacle in VCs, however, as they are not mere enemies or bosses.
Getting all the loot and progress lost upon looting Void Chests is highly disheartening and there is no mention of fixing this bug in either the new season announcement or the VC co-op announcement from a few months ago.
One other thing to keep in mind is that even if you successfully complete the crusade with your friend, and the game doesn't bug out on the Void Chests, only the party leader will be able to loot them. The non-host party member will be able to loot only the general chest in the middle of the room.
Besides these caveats, there are some other improvements coming to the Void Crusades. For example, you will be able to crush Void Shards into Void Dust and then use it to craft Shards of another colour. In other words, it will be easier to complete sets and kick off a new Void Crusade.
