Steam Winter Sale is now live

Steam Winter Sale 2019 has officially started and there are a ton of sweet deals on some of the biggest 2019 titles. We picked five must-buy games that you simply don't wanna miss during the sale.

Annual Steam Winter Sale is upon us and just like every year, it's time to spend your hard-earned cash on some games. The sale is also a perfect opportunity if you want to gift some titles to your friends or family during the holidays. With so many games, it can be hard to decide which one to get but fear not, we made a list of five absolutely awesome ones that would be worth every penny even if fully priced.

Everything has been said about CD Projekt Red's RPG by now so we feel that repeating just how good this game actually is would be just a waste of time. The GOTY edition comes with all the DLCs and patches so you get the ultimate version of the game. The Witcher 3 is 70 per cent off, which means you can get it for just €14,99.

Best horror title of 2019 and probably one of the best in the last decade. Resident Evil 2 is a fantastic but hair-raising experience that is absolutely worth every penny. If you're looking for a survival horror game to play during holidays, look no further, at 67 per cent discount (€19,79), Resident Evil 2 is a no-brainer.

What an incredible year for From Software. Their latest souls like game Sekiro won The Game of The Year award at The Game Awards show earlier this month, cementing the genre's place on the biggest stage. Hard games are finally appreciated and you can show your support by getting Sekiro for €38,99, which is 35 per cent off from the regular price.

For those who prefer fighting games, the good old Mortal Kombat franchise is the best you can get at the moment. The eleventh major instalment in the series is one of the best fighting games ever and it's also available at a huge, 60 per cent discount. Fight with Scorpion, Sub Zero, Kitana and other legendary characters for only €23,99.

Shooter fans, the last one is for you. If team-based, tactical first-person shooters are your thing, Insurgency: Sandstorm is one of the best choices out there. At the moment, it's available for only €14,99, which is 50 per cent off from the regular price. If you're looking for a more hardcore experience, we recommend Squad (€30,00), while casuals can try 2016's Doom (€5,99).
