Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 has received a demo and it didn't take long until it was data-mined, which revealed a surprise celebrity cameo - Jack Black.
As posted by Reddit user going by the handle derek420, whose post on the Tony Hawk Pro Skater subreddit is titled, "My friend data mined the demo and found out Jack Black is Officer Dick!
Fans of Tony Hawk Pro Skater will be familiar with Officer Dick, whose first appearance was in the first THPS game back in 1999. He actually went on to have an illustrious career in the franchise, appearing in THPS 2, 3, 4 and THPSHD, albeit some made you work harder to unlock him.
Jack Black has really put the pedal to the metal lately, appearing in games left and right. His latest cameo was more of a leading role, and we're talking about Psychonauts by Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions.
This cameo, however, was hinted at on his gaming channel on YouTube back in May 2020. His video couldn't have been more skaterly, and we're talking Tony Hawk-skaterly, where they first played the sort of music we've come to expect and then indulged in the game.
Tony Hawk even told the story of the first time he saw Jack Black perform, where the latter said how life on the road is hard, because every bump makes you lose your combo in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

Knowing that Black was a big fan, perhaps Officer Dick isn't that big of a surprise. We just wonder how he'll reconcile the role of the grumpy cop with Black's traditionally explosive and very skating-enthusiastic persona.
