It's time for the annual The Game Awards Sale on Valve's distribution platform and as usual, Steam are offering a bunch of discounts and limited-time demos.

"The Game Awards is the video game industry's annual awards show that recognizes the past year's best games and developers, and highlights what's next with world premieres and game announcements. The Game Awards sale offers customers limited-time discounts on nominees and other featured titles", the announcement reads.

By the way, you'll be able to watch The Game Awards via Steam on Thursday, December 10, 2020. The show starts at 3:30pm ET / 3:30om PT / 12:30am CET.

As for the discounts and demos, Valve prepared a bunch of discounts for most of The Game Awards 2020 nominees across various categories.

Note that it's most, not all, and ironically, Half-Life: Alyx is one of the games that still goes at full price. Which is not to say that it's not worth it, mind you, it most certainly is - it's just a bit peculiar.

Doom Eternal, the excellent and brutally hectic shooter by id Software and Bethesda, received a hefty discount of 67 per cent, which should be great news for those who've been holding off the purchase.

Hello Games' space sim No Man's Sky is 50 per cent cheaper. Speaking of space, Star Wars: Squadrons can be bought for 40 per cent less, whereas Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn goes for as much as 60 per cent cheaper.

Some of the biggest discounts are those for fighting games. Most notably, Mortal Kombat 11 is 70 per cent off, while Capcom's Street Fighter V is 60 per cent off.

There's a ton more of 20 and 25 per cent discounts, like for Hades, Carrion, Spiritfarers, and more, all of which can be found on Steam's The Game Awards Sale page .
