Undead Labs and Xbox Game Studios have officially announced an enhanced version of State of Decay 2, named Juggernaut Edition. The new release brings remastered graphics, brand new open world, weapons and more.

State of Decay 2, zombie survival action game from Xbox Game Studios and Undead Labs is getting a massive update pretty soon. Announced today by the developer and publisher, State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition brings several major improvements to the original game.

The official description states that the new edition re-imagines the survival title as a brand-new experience to welcome first-time players and of course the returning ones. The game is also coming to Steam, which will certainly be appreciated by many players. 

One of the biggest improvements in State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition are the remasted graphics. As you can see in the screenshot below, the game received a complete graphical overhaul with new lighting, realistic fog effects, denser foliage and more. 

Additionally, a brand new open-world region named Providence Ridge full of forests, zombies and other creatures has been added to the game. Two new heavy weapons are also included along with an expanded soundtrack.

Juggernaut Edition includes the base game plus all three add-on packs released to date - Heartland, Daybreak Pack and Independence Pack. The release date is set for Friday, 13 March 2020 and the game is up for pre-order right now on Steam. It will cost you €24.99 / $29.99.
