CES 2021 proved to be rather interesting for the gamers, especially those waiting for the release of Ghostwire Tokyo, Kena: Bridge of Spirits and a few other titles.
Sony announced release windows for five games on PlayStation 5, three of which are this year. The full list of release dates is as follows:
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits - March 2021
- Ghostwire Tokyo - October 2021
- Little Devil Inside - July 2021
- Project Athia - January 2022
- Pragmata - 2023
Pragmata is the only game to not get a specific month in which it's releasing as it also seems to have been in development for the shortest time of the bunch.
Ghostwire Tokyo is possibly the most anticipated game of the five and the fans will have to wait more than half a year until it releases. Close runner-up would be Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which is roughly just two months away, followed by Little Devil Inside during Summer 2021.
Project Athia is one of the titles that caught the most attention during recent Sony showcases and it looked to be rather early into development but now it looks like there is just one more year left.
As a reminder, video games often take two or three years to develop and it's not unusual that the cycles can last half a decade at times.
