Tactical Adventures revealed some exciting news for the fans of their game, Solasta: Crown of the Magister, which is currently in Early Access.
Steam Early Access sometimes serves up some games that are not that good and only end up frustrating the customers when the devs drop the support before the full release, despite many people having paid money to play said games.
Every coin has two sides though and Solasta: Crown of the Magister is the pretty one. The game has been in Steam Early Access for quite a bit now but the devs are pumping out updates like there is no tomorrow. They must be doing something right because 94 per cent of the players noted they liked the game. That's a score even AAA titles struggle to obtain on the platform.
It seems like the adventure will only get better as the devs announced an update that is coming on December 14, 2020, bringing a new area, quests, lighting system overhaul, more combat features, customisation options, scavenger mechanics implementation and more undocumented changes and additions.
While this sounds great in itself, it's not where the good news end. Namely, Tactical Adventures also announced that their game will come to GOG on the same date.
This will not be a major difference if you are happy with using the Steam version but if you were on the fence and looking for a DRM-free version, this will be the time to get it.
