Tactical Adventures announced their target release period for Solasta: Crown of the Magister while inviting everyone to try out the free demo beforehand.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a turn-based adventure that has already had several demo sessions and many fans of the genre found it to be a rather interesting experience. With a new trailer, seen below, Tactical Adventures announced that the game is coming to Steam Early Access at some point during autumn of 2020.
In case you are interested in a D&D-like experience, you can go to the Solasta's Steam page and download the demo. This session will end on August 30, 2020, so it's pretty much this weekend or bust if you are looking to try the game out for the time being. That said, it is not excluded that another demo session could pop up in the future.
Unfortunately, there are no visible system requirements posted on Steam right now so you will just have to download and run the game in order to see whether and how it performs with your rig.
As for the topic of Solasta, it's a turn-based RPG where players pick up their party and venture into various ruins where light becomes either a resource or hindrance, depending on how proficient you are in using this mechanic.
Furthermore, there is a lot of emphasis on verticality so those who played Divinity: Original Sin 2 will likely find these mechanics to be familiar and use them to their advantage.
