Developer and publisher CI Games officially announced new Sniper Ghost Warrior game called Contracts. Judging by the trailer, the game will have a futuristic feel and it's set in Siberia. The first gameplay footage will be shown at E3 2019.
The next instalment in a bit underrated tactical shooter franchise Sniper Ghost Warrior will be called Contracts it's been officially announced by the Warsaw-based developer and publisher CI Games.
Judging by the short teaser trailer, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will have a futuristic feel and will be set in the Siberian wilderness so ready yourself for the harsh climate and freezing temperatures.
In the trailer, a sniper can be seen as he takes out several soldiers from a top of the cliff but at the very end, he's at the aim of another character, which suggests he's not the only hunter in the snowy wilderness.
CI Games confirmed that full gameplay reveal is coming in just a few days, on this year's E3 expo, which runs from 11 to 13 July 2019 in Los Angeles. The devs say that the latest title will take the series in a brand new direction with "tense, mission-based scenarios across dense, more focused maps."
Players will be able to complete each mission in a number of ways and there will be countless side missions with rewards such as extra cash for loadout upgrades and more.
The game will offer singleplayer campaign as well as several multiplayer modes with plenty of replayability. Unfortunately, the devs did not talk about these but hopefully, more details will be revealed on E3.
As for the technical side of the game, the developers promise that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will be more optimised than its predecessors with minimised load times and stable frame rate. The devs say that they've learned from their missteps in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, which was too ambitious in terms of the scope of the game.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is scheduled to release sometime later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on PC.
