Saber Interactive has dropped a brand-new trailer for its upcoming action-packed shooter Painkiller, and it’s a real bloodbath. Titled “Blood Pact,” the new gameplay video showcases more of the game’s adrenaline-fueled co-op action while giving players a closer look at the grotesque enemies that await them in the depths of Purgatory.

Developed by Anshar Studios under the 3D Realms publishing label, Painkiller is a modern reimagining of the cult-classic FPS series known for its over-the-top gunplay and relentless waves of demonic foes. This latest trailer certainly sets the tone perfectly with a brutal descent into chaos filled with massive bosses, grim environments, and a metal soundtrack that absolutely shreds.
Painkiller is set to launch on October 21, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
If the trailer is anything to go by, this reimagining stays true to the franchise’s roots - loud, gory, and unapologetically intense.
