Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming in early June. A Danish retailer that had previously leaked a correct release date for GTA V listed the upcoming game on their website. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still available for pre-order at the time of writing.
Coolshop, a Danish retailer that had previously leaked GTA V's release date, strikes again. This time it's Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2. Coolshop's previous leaks turned out to be true, so we're taking this and running with it. Allegedly.
Coolshop went ahead and put Red Dead Redemption 2 down for release on 08 June, 2018. In the latest , the game's launch window is set for "spring 2018", so technically, it checks out. When the retailer leaked GTA V's release date it also coincided with the time window provided by Rockstar.

At the time of writing, the store still has listings for both and versions of the upcoming game. The pre-order price is set at £52.95 (shipping included). AltChar strongly advises against any and all pre-purchases.

"Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in fall 2017. The game is described as "an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland" with a "vast and atmospheric world" that "will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."
Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most anticipated games of 2017 before from the second part of 2017, to the second quarter of 2018. A recent GTA Online DLC stirred things up by adding a to the game.
