RDO players have been deprived of content for a long while but Survival should give them something to do unless they are farming Capitale for some reason.
Blood Money may not have been the update RDO players hoped for but one portion of it is likely to be well-received. The Survival series existed in GTA Online for a while now but it's only going to make a debut in RDO on August 10, 2021.
It will be called Call To Arms and not much was revealed except that the basic mechanics will be the same as in GTAO. Waves of enemies will come at the players and the goal is to outlast all the waves in order to reap the full rewards.
Considering that action is what the fans are mostly craving these days, this mode should prove to be the best possible addition, except for structured content like Heists in GTAO.
It remains to be seen how many players will actually tune in, or rather - how many players will be able to tune in as Social Club-dependent games have had issues with connectivity since July 24, 2021. Numerous players are reporting being unable to join Online components of both RDR2 and GTA V since Social Club keeps logging in with offline mode.
So far the only reliable fix proved to be VPN usage but if a game requires meddling with your IP that way, is it really worth the hassle?
