British video game developers Introversion Software have been by the British Red Cross to abandon the use of the organisation's symbol in their game Prison Architect. Apparently, using the symbol for anything other than its designated utility during war times is a violation of the Geneva Convention.

This interesting development does lead us to one particular thought.

If the Red Cross displays any consistency with this practise in the form of legal action, it might mean damage to the organisation's healthcare efforts, since a portion of the donations they receive will most likely be funnelled into legal battles with the countless developers who have "abused" the symbol over the past decades.
