New GTA VI rumours started to surface all over the internet recently, stating that the game is a PS5 exclusive and that its reveal is set for today - 25 March 2020. However, these rumours are "nonsense" according to reliable Jason Schreier.
Recently, GTA Forums user named onnaenodaethat started posting cryptic messages all over the GTAForums , suggesting that Rockstar Games could soon give us some news about Grand Theft Auto VI. He/She even suggested that the new GTA game will be titled GTA Vice in one of the recent cryptic messages but the latest post offered an exact reveal date for the game, which turned GTA fans into a full hype mode.
Apparently, the reveal is set for today - 25 March 2020 - and many were refreshing Rockstar's Twitter feed, waiting for an announcement. However, there will be no GTA VI reveal today or anytime soon according to Kotaku's Jason Schreier.
When asked about the rumour over at Twitter, Schreier simply responded with: "nonsense". Now, Jason is a reliable source and has a proven track record with tons of exclusive information but of course, only Rockstar Games can know for sure when GTA VI is getting revealed.
That being said, the rumour was a bit flat in the first place. Yes, Rockstar love to announce their games suddenly and without any previous teasing but GTA VI announcement at this moment would be a bit premature given that GTA Online is still doing extremely well and Red Dead Online is also in full swing.
Additionally, Schreier also debunked the rumour about PS5 exclusivity describing it once again as "nonsense". When asked about GTA VI reveal in March 2020, Schreier added "don't get your hopes up" suggesting that it will take some time before we get an official announcement.
