The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for January 2026 have been announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment, and this lineup of three games has some of the most diversity in terms of genres yet.
January’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games can be downloaded by Essential subscribers starting on January 6, 2026 until February 2, 2026.
This lineup features a sandbox adventure game, a remake of a family-friendly platformer, and a contemporary arcade racing game. January 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games offer players both a slower and more creative experience or a faster arcade racer for those who just want to race.
Core Keeper
Core Keeper for PS5 and PS4 is the slow and steady choice this month. The game drops you into an underground world of unknown origin with a heavy emphasis on exploration, crafting, and base-building. You can play it single-player or with up to 8 players.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed arrives on PS5 and PS4 as a remake of the original cult platformer. Players take on the role of Mickey Mouse in Wasteland, a lost Disney-themed world where their decisions shape the environment.
Players have the ability to restore or alter the world using paint or thinner as their primary tool of interaction with the environment, resulting in a gameplay loop that has a somewhat different feel than traditional platformers and a greater emphasis on exploration and decision-making.
Need for Speed Unbound
Capping off the month is Need for Speed Unbound for PS5. The title focuses on street racing, customization, and dodging the police, and features separate single-player and multiplayer progression.
The PS Plus lineup for January 2026 is diverse, offering three very different games to fit the variety of player preferences and needs.
