PlayStation Plus is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. As part of the festivities, PS Plus members of all tiers will be able to enjoy a full week of bonuses starting June 29, including special discounts, game trials, and tournaments.
Sony has also just announced the July 2025 free games for PS Plus as part of the announcement.
There’s plenty to enjoy from the discounts and tournaments to the game trials and free cosmetics pack, so the PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary is a great opportunity for players to get in on all of the celebrations for the service that’s been going strong for 15 years.
PS Plus 15th Anniversary Event Details
PS Plus originally launched June 29, 2010, and has since evolved into a three-tiered subscription service (Essential, Extra, and Premium) that includes benefits such as online multiplayer, monthly games, exclusive discounts, and game trials.
Sony is celebrating this anniversary by providing several benefits to PS Plus members:
- WWE 2K25 Game Trial for Premium members is now available
- Monster Hunter Wilds Game Trial for Premium members available June 30
- Exclusive Store Discounts on games including Sniper Elite: Resistance, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7, and Star Wars Outlaws, from June 27-29
- Free Valorant Cosmetic Pack for all PS Plus members is now available
- 15th Anniversary Cup Tournament starting June 28 in games like EA Sports FC, Tekken 8, NBA 2K, UFC, and more with in-game rewards on the line
- Free Online Multiplayer Weekend (June 28-29) for all players, even if they don’t have a PS Plus subscription
- 15% Off Sony Pictures Core Movies for Premium members through August 12
New PS Plus Games for July 2025
The anniversary celebration even includes new free games for PS Plus subscribers. From July 1 to August 4, players can add Diablo IV, King of Fighters XV, and Jusant to their libraries as part of the Monthly Games collection.
