Owlcat Games are enjoying a highly successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous as it crossed $1 million threshold. In terms of stretch goals, the campaign is about to knock down the tenth one.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker left many with the feeling of satisfaction which is now paying off for Owlcat Games as the Kickstarter campaign for the sequel, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, is just killing it.

Ten days into the campaign, over 18,000 backers have pledged $1.1 million for the upcoming game. Owlcat started laying out stretch goals but it seems like these can't even live through a single day without getting bumped. In the ten days of the campaign, the backers have surpassed nine stretch goals and the next one is about to be reached.

The goals at the time of writing were as follows:

  1. New class - Warpriest
  2. New companion - Woljif Jefto
  3. Mounted combat
  4. Dismemberment
  5. Two additional Mythic Paths
  6. New Race - One Out of Three (catfolk, ratfolk or kitsune)
  7. Evolving animal companions -
  8. New class - Skald
  9. Themes performed by a symphony orchestra
  10. Doubled reactivity

All but the last stretch goal had been unlocked at the time of writing. Doubled reactivity will unlock at $1.155 million which is not that far away. It refers to the NPCs reacting to the player character. A few examples of things that trigger reactions are race, class and chosen deity.

Additionally, keep in mind that while Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous was imagined as a real-time game with pause, it will feature turn-based mode from the get-go as this was one of the most requested features by the fans.
