Genshin Impact developer has taken to Twitter to ask the fans to refrain from disseminating leaks in order to help maintain a fair gaming environment.

Developer miHoYo rolled out a highly anticipated update in Version 1.4, but with it unwittingly unveiled some of the content from the next one. You know yourself how these things spread, so the dev tried to put a stop to it this way.

Writing on their Twitter page, miHoYo said the following:

"Recently, we discovered the dissemination of leaked version 1.5. content. Such behavior not only disrupts our plans to develop and promote the new version, but also causes some Travelers to have misconceptions about the content of the new version.

Here, we kindly ask for the support and help of all Travelers to resist leaks, and maintain a fair gaming environment. We will also increase our efforts to deal with such illegal disclosures."

If you're willing to listen to miHoYo's advice, this is where you need to turn away, because we're about to discuss the leaks they're referring to.

As we already covered , the dev is referring to Eula, a Cryo Claymore user hailing from the Monstadt region, a Captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. Alongside her came comes the Pyro Catalyst, Feiyan, both of whom are expected to land in Genshin Impact's update 1.5.

As much as we understand the Genshin Impact developer's concerns, we're not sure that fighting leaks is the best usage of their time, as many developers have learned before. Many data miners, for instance, turn out to be valuable sources of information that actually help build the community, but it's understandably difficult to tell the good ones from the bad.
