Sony's PlayStation 5 just recently delivered a breathtaking presentation of its capabilities. Furthermore, it looks like the new console is on track and going to hit its holiday season launch date .
A fresh console that will take that special place next to your TV and on your bank statement is nothing without some games you'll actually get to play on it. With this in mind, here are the games that have already been confirmed for the PlayStation 5.
Fortnite
Epic Games announced that Fortnite will be a launch title for both next-generation consoles. While no details on how exactly Fortnite will benefit from PlayStation 5's beefy stats have been shared, the game will be optimized to take advantage of the new hardware and features on next-gen consoles.
This will give the developers a chance to improve the performance and visuals. At launch, the version of Fortnite released on next-gen consoles will be built with Unreal Engine 4. The game will migrate to Unreal Engine 5 in mid-2021.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ubisoft's latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise will be playable on the PS5 at launch. The game will see you dual-wield your weapons and go up against all manner of foes in a bunch of different locations and landscapes.

Outriders
People Can Fly and Square Enix are bringing Outriders to the PS5 in 2020. The new cover shooter will also boast a bunch of abilities you'll want to use away from chest-high walls.

Dirt 5
Not much is known about the upcoming game in the off-road racing franchise but Dirt 5 promised it will be "bolder and braver than ever before".
Codemasters will try and present us with "new features" and innovations which will make each race you line up for a different experience. Everyone who chooses to play Dirt 5's career mode will also get to enjoy Troy Baker and Nolan North's soothing voices.

Destiny 2
Speaking of Nolan North, Destiny 2 is also on its way to the PlayStation 5. Bungie's shooter has been confirmed for both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 but apart from that, not many details are known at the moment.

Godfall
Counterplay Games and Gearbox Studios are working on a fantasy action-RPG that will be a PS5 exclusive. The game will be called Godfall and have looter-slasher elements synonymous with Gearbox' Borderlands franchise.
Players will be able to go at Godfall in single-player mode but also team up in 3 player co-op raiding parties and go after scaled enemies for more awesome loot drops.

Quantum Error
TeamKill's second offering - a "cosmic horror" game titled Quantum Error is also coming to the PS5. Not much is known about the title but a short teaser trailer showcased some tasty visuals and some gameplay comparable to Doom.

Scarlet Nexus
Bandai Namco's Scarlet Nexus will give the players a chance to play as a soldier who has the power of psycho-kinesis. The soldier's name is Yuito Sumeragi and the game will be set in the futuristic city of New Himuka.

Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2
Taking place in Seattle - a perfect city for vampires given its cloudy weather - Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will give you a chance to disrupt the balance of power using your choices, plots and schemes.

Watch Dogs: Legion
The very exciting-looking sequel to Watch Dogs has also been confirmed to be on the way for the PS5. The game was originally slated for a release in March 2020 but delayed so its release coincides with that of the next-gen consoles.
Release Date: April 2020 - March 31, 2021.
Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2
Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 will be playable on the PlayStation 5 in 2021.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will finally give the Hobbit turned by the One Ring a chance to tell his story, his way.
