Last week's charts are in and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are out of the top ten. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is currently safe at number one having doubled Mario Kart 8: Deluxe's sales.
GFK's software charts for all formats are in and here are is a quick overview of last week's numbers.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite by Focus Home Interactive was the big winner and debuted at number one. This is the first time in three years Focus Home Interactive had a game chart this high. Aliens: Fireteam Elite was a smash hit with the PlayStation 5 crowd which is responsible for no less than 42 per cent of total sales. Next in line and eager to play Fireteam were Xbox Series X|S people who accounted for 31 per cent of traffic.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite can rest comfortably in the top spot as it moved more than twice copies than Mario Kart 8: Deluxe which rose up the ranks to find its place at the number one spot for last week.
Sony's Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut traded in its number one spot for a time-share at number 9. The game's sales dropped 50 per cent week-on-week which directly correlates with the availability of PlayStation 5 consoles . All PS5 exclusives including Spider-Man: Miles Morales (now at number five, down from three) and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (second place last week, down to 12) have suffered the same fate.
