Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is finally here. The new season focuses on Greek mythology, moving away from the Espionage theme of Season 1.
Epic Games refreshes the current item pool every new season by adding and vaulting items. Chapter 5 Season 2 is no different from the previous seasons, Epic has vaulted most of the items from the Season 1 loot pool.
The goal of adding and vaulting items is to refresh the meta every season. Moreover, besides the usual weapons, Epic has added new mythic weapons alongside new bosses on different POIs throughout the map. Here's a list of all the new and vaulted items in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
All New and Vaulted Items in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
Epic has vaulted 13 items from the Season 1 loot pool, including all boss medallions and Metal Gear Solid collaboration items - Cardboard Box and EMP Stealth Camo. Here's a complete list of all vaulted items in the Season 2 update:

- Hyper SMG
- Striker AR
- Enforcer AR
- Bananas Snowball Launcher
- Anvil Rocket Launcher
- Grapple Blade
- All Boss Mythics
- Pizza Party
- Lock On Pistol
- EMP Stealth Camo
- Crash Pad Jr.
The vaulted items include mobility items like Crash Pad Jr. and Grapple Blade. The Ballistic Shield has also been vaulted for negative player feedback throughout the season.
Moving on to newly added weapons, Epic has added 11 new items to the loot pool. However, the new loot pool does not include mobility and collaboration items, which will be gradually added with the progress of Season 2. Here's a list of all the new items in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2:

The fan-favorite Drum Gun is finally making a return in Season 2. The new loot pool will change the weapon and loadout meta in Season 2, allowing players to create unique playstyles in Battle Royale and Zero Build game modes.
