Fortnite's newest in-game event is finally here. The new Pandora's Box event is a community-wide milestone challenge containing the elements for Chapter 5, Season 2.

Fortnite is the biggest live-service Battle Royale game worldwide. Released in 2017, the game has amassed a large player base for its unique in-game events, gameplay mechanics, maps and skins.

In Chapter 5, Season 1, Fortnite received a massive overhaul with new movement mechanics, in-game characters, bosses and game modes. After a large in-game Eminem concert at the end of Fortnite OG, Chapter 4 ended.

After three months of Chapter 5, Season 1, Epic Games is moving on to the next major update. The Season 2 update is fast approaching. Players have received a new in-game community challenge called Pandora's Box, containing elements of Season 2.

How to Find Pandora's Box in Fortnite

To find Pandora's Box, you must land at Ruined Reels. The Box hangs from a vast fiery hand, which'll be visible from the sky when you glide down.

Pandora's Box can be found near Ruined Reels in Fortnite.

Pandora's Box is tied to the hand with five metal chains and has 5 Billion HP. Like the dig site challenge back in Chapter 2, players must deplete the full HP before time runs out to move onto the next reveal stage.

The damage multiplier for Pandora's Box has been raised to 10x from 5x to make the challenge more manageable for the community. Previously, the dig site challenge took a long time to finish with 1 Million HP.

According to recent leaks, the next season is moving towards a Greek mythology theme that deviates from the current espionage theme. In Chapter 5, Season 1, players are introduced to the High Society storyline, where Jonesy has to rescue Peely from the shackles of the High Society boss, Montague.

It'll be interesting to see the subsequent collaborations that tie in with the Season 2 storyline. In Season 1, the game had extensive collaborations with Rocket League, Family Guy, Metal Gear Solid, TMNT, The Weeknd, Luis Hamilton, Eminem and Lady Gaga.
