Fallout 76 team is putting the holiday season behind them and focusing on pushing out some quality-of-life improvements at the end of the month, kicking off a new phase of PTS playtesting, a Double S.C.O.R.E. event and weekly community streams.
With the New year comes a new PTS
Bethesda.net PC players can have an early look at the upcoming quality-of-life improvements that will be coming with the first Fallout 76 update of the year.
Dubbed the "Inventory Update", the patch will include a Stash increase to 1,200 pounds, add "Armor" and "Food/Drink" tabs to the Pip-Boy, display the total weights of any item stacks you have, and expand on Player Vending Machine previews on the Map.
The PTS should already be up and running - for those interested.
A double S.C.O.R.E. event kicks off the new year
The team-up with K.D. Inkwell from a couple of weeks ago spawned a fascinating piece of technology that will temporarily speed up your journey. This entire weekend will be your chance to rank up and claim your Season rewards more quickly by earning double the S.C.O.R.E. from your Daily Challenges.
Double S.C.O.R.E. event details
- Start: 5:00 p.m. GMT on January 7
- End: 5:00 p.m. GMT on January 11
The return of the weekly community streams
Those jonesing for even more adventures in Appalachia can drop by the weekly streams and join members of the community team as they quest, explore, and build in the Wasteland, cover the latest game news and updates, and chat with the community about all things Fallout 76.
You can catch the show every Wednesday by tuning in to Twitch at 6:00 p.m. GMT.
