Bungie say all the features announced in the recent roadmap are still there, it's just that they had to move things around so as to ensure a "sufficiently high quality bar". Well, I know what I'd call a quality bar, right?

Nightfall Strike unique rewards have been pushed back to the 1.1.4 update, which is due on 27 March 2018. Bungie said they did their best to make it in time for 1.1.3's Nightfall Scoring and High Score tracking system, slated for 27 February 2018, but it was not to be. "They have to be super cool, so we’re giving the artists extra time to make sure they are... super cool", Bungie said. Fair enough then.

Reduction of duplicate drops and vendor viewing via companion app have also been pushed back to March 2018, whereas Exotic Weapon/Armor Sandbox changes are coming in the 1.2.0 update scheduled for May 2018, which is when the next expansion is coming out as well.

Destiny 2 fanatics were really looking forward to the announced mod system improvements, and while the developer said that they are in the pipeline, they won't be making it in time for the 1.2.0 launch. We should know more on this somewhere down the line.

In their latest post on the company website, Bungie said that the Rumble competitive game mode is soon joining 6v6 Iron Banner and Mayhem in the 1.1.4's weekly Crucible playlist. Apparently, another competitive mode called the Doubles will follow at a later date, but we'll be hearing from Bungie soon enough.

"There’s lots more we’re eager to talk about in the coming weeks. We promise to be as transparent as possible and keep you updated as we go." You can read more on Bungie's official webpage.
