The Medium has a new trailer showcasing a mysterious narrative for the second layer of the story. The trailer also introduces a new character and locations.
Bloober Team, the developer of the upcoming psychological horror game The Medium have released a new trailer for the game, revealing a new mysterious narrative for the game's story, a new character and location Niwa Hotel.
The character's face whose name will be revealed in time, is based on Marcin Dorocinski, a Polish actor who fans will recognise from the popular Netflix series The Queen's Gambit. This mysterious figure is capable of ruthlessness and brutality and has his own revenge-driven agenda, Bloober Team say. As players uncover more about his story, they will see how it connects with Marianne's investigation.
Just like the previous trailers, this one is also quite atmospheric and creepy and it's safe to say that The Medium is looking better and scarier with each released in-game footage.
Additionally, Bloober Team also revealed what exactly can players expect from the new trailer:
"Fans will also learn more about the spirit world, a dark mirrored reflection of the real world that symbolises the rawest emotions such as fear and anger. And they’ll discover The Maw is not the only hostile spirit lurking there," it's written in the official announcement.
The Medium will launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Store on January 28, 2021.
