Ubisoft have released a brand new story trailer for their upcoming action-adventure Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The trailer gives us a closer look at Eivor's Viking saga.
Today, Ubisoft have shared a new story trailer for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and a new podcast documentary series named Echoes of Valhalla, which gives insight into Viking stories and highlights the historical inspiration behind the game.
The trailer offers us a closer look at Eivor, who is the main protagonist of the game. Eivor, which can be male or female depending on the player choices, travels with their fellow Vikings to England to secure a future for the clan. Shortly after the arrival, Eivor will meet the Hidden Ones, and face powerful figures including Saxon kings and the warmongering sons of Ragnar Lothbrok.
One thing that you'll probably notice in the trailer is the game's visuals, which received a proper upgrade when compared to earlier footage. Everything looks more crisp and clean, the character models are noticeably better, just like the draw distance and particles. It's safe to say that the devs did a great job when it comes to graphics.
As for the podcast, it unveils the historical background of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. You can listen to it on Spotify.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is officially hitting the shelves on November 10, 2020, for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC. The game will also come to PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020.
