Bethesda announced free bonus content for Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider. The publisher included Black and White and Mission+ modes along with the original pre-order bonus for all players who log in to their Bethesda account.

Treyarch rolled out new December update for Call of Duty which brings a limited 2XP in Multiplayer and Zombies, 2X Merits in Blackout along with the Close Quarters Frenzy mode seeing some gameplay improvements and an expanded arsenal.

Discord Inc announced that they will allow developers to self-publish games on their store with 90/10 revenue split starting in 2019. They said that 10 per cent is enough for their operating costs, store optimisation and efficiency.

After a negative feedback from the Fortnite community, Epic Games have removed the overpowered weapon dubbed Infinity Blade from the game. The developer said they messed up and released the weapon too soon and without good counters.

From now on, players will be able to purchase Gold Bars with real-world money in Red Dead Online. This change comes with the latest December update in which Rockstar also adds 15 additional gold bars and a cash gift to all players.

Fortune Island is a first big expansion for Microsoft's Forza Horizon 4. The update is now available on both PC and Xbox One and it brings one new area which is separate from the main game. The update also brings ten new cars to the stable.

Open world survival game DayZ has finally left the early access and to celebrate the milestone, Bohemian Interactive are offering their game for free until 17 December 2018. Along with the free weekend, DayZ's price is also 15 per cent off.

Todd McFarlane, the creator of comic book character Spawn believes that Spawn will be included in the roster for the upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat 11. McFarlane was doing Reddit AMA and answered that Spawn is on his way to MK.

Crytek have released a New Hunt: Showdown update which brings a much-anticipated Quickplay game mode, new daily and weekly challenges and quality of life improvements for gunplay along with many other bug fixes and general updates.

Deep Silver released a new trailer for the upcoming Metro Exodus to celebrate the gold status and a new release date. The third instalment in Metro series will hit the shelves on 15 February 2018, one week earlier than the previous date.

Ubisoft announced a closed technical alpha dates for the upcoming shooter Division 2. The alpha will be running from 15 December through 18 December 2018 and only a small group of pre-selected players will get the chance to test the game.
